With a beginner-centered approach, each spread is meant to unpack one component of tarot reading anatomy or topic-handling. 12 spreads contain a separate page with notes and prompts for the reader to consider (while others contain smaller annotations and explanations on the spread page), all intending to probe a little deeper into how and why we construct a spread they way we do.

Spreads are smaller, most ranging from 3-5 cards (while branching out into 6 occasionally), making them accessible to tarot newcomers but still capable of delivering a potent reading.
